Hi, Boomers:

Dee just called me a couple of minutes ago. The doctor told her that Tom "tolerated the surgery very well". It went very quickly as they were anxious to get "in and out" because of his previous heart problems.

He will be in ICU and Dee said they were going to try to get him to Cardiac ICU, again because of the heart situation.

Dee and the family (one at a time) will be able to see him in a couple of hours, but he won't see them. I believe in God's way, he will feel their presence though. He was very heavily sedated.

I know we're all rejoicing with Dee and their family, but we need to keep them in prayer. The fact that he will be in ICU for three or more days, is an indication of the seriousness of this surgery.

Dee said to tell the Boomers, "Thank you so much for your prayers for Tom!"

Love ya,
Cheri

Just talked to Dee and she wanted me to post an update on Tom. He's out of ICU! He even got up in a chair today and will walk a little tomorrow. Shoot..if he keeps going this way, they'll be at Rock Crusher next week!

Hi, Ya'll!

Dee just called a little while ago and said that Tom has been discharged and he is home. She was thinking that maybe he would come home tomorrow but was totally surprised that he came home today.

She said he is resting a lot and just glad to be home and is also so "very thankful for all the prayers" for Tom and for her.

Hi Everyone,
Tom is doing pretty good. I think he over did a little yesterday. I told him to slow down a little until he gets a little stronger. Jim I think Tom thought he was going camping this morning he had me up at O'Dark Thirty.

Thanks so much for your good wishes and especially your prayers.

Carolyn I hope you are improving. Everything takes time. We will pray for your recovery also.

Thanks again
Dee & Tom
