OK being new to the group and this is our first.... What do we need to bring? It looks like you professionals have everything covered.

How about a couple of bushels of Sneeds Ferry Oysters? I think I can round up a cooker but will need oyster knives. Let me know.

Looking at the map, any idea on where our group will be located. Office closes at 3:30pm, not sure I will be there by 3 and don't know what the other group coaches looks like. Mine is a gold Pace Arrow Vision, tag axle with a muriel on the back, two empty beach chairs and a sign..."GONE FISHING"

Horace,

Tom and Dianne are off in their RV and may not see this so I'll see if I can help.

I'm arriving Thursday around mid-day or so and will be in a Hitchhiker 5th wheel pulled by a silver GMC dually. If you see our rig the others should be nearby. Our group should be about half of the CG capacity so we'll probably be easy to spot.

Hi Horace,

I also hope to be at the campground by mid-day on Thur. Oct. 30th. I am in a Class-A Windsport Motorhome, with a Sand colored rag top Jeep toad, both have NJ plates! Hope this helps some!

For Friday Pot-luck I am making Venuffalo Chili, and Sat. I am making a Crock-Pot Peach Cobbler, the same one I made for the Stone Mnt. Rally a few years back!

Looking forward to seeing you all soon !!!

I can bring a turkey cooker set up and use the smaller pot to stream the oysters.
Have used before to steam clams.

Let me know if you want me to bring it and the 20 lb propane cylinder.

That would be great to have the cooker. I am getting two bushels of select oysters from my fishing partner so I know where they came from. Also bringing some extra knives, hot sauce and butter. What did I forget?

The cooker is on board.

We will also bring some fixings for cocktail sauce and 2 butter warmers, which are two bowls heated by votive candles to keep the melted butter warm.

Will they be cleaned or will we have to scrub them??

Never had any luck opening oysters, will let the steam do the job for us.

Going to wash them with the pressure washer. Not 100% clean but it's the best I can do.It will get 90% of the mud off them.

Richard,
We are not suppose to have any snow here. The weatherman was talking about a light dusting around Boone.
