Good news you WiFi'ers. Read this from Jim Jones (Renegade):

Yes, they have linkspot. It costs I think 2.95/hr or 5.95 all day. Once you have a signal and it is connected, opening your browser, it goes to the linkspot web site. If this is the first time you will need to setup a login

$5.95 a day! Oh well, I guess if the Prescott roving hot spot isn't there for you...

Mary, you're kidding, right? You REALLY didn't know that you can shop on-line at Wal-Mart?

This feature gave Ron a whole new respect for my Alma Mater. We purchased our GARMIN GPS on-line through Wal-Mart and the real surprise was that we save $100 compared to the price IN THE STORE!

I guess you didn't know you can purchase furniture from Wal-Mart on-line? I also purchased the runner we had in our other MH which we eventually used in our 5th Wheel from ... YOU GUESSED IT ... Wal-Mart!

Give me a "W", give me an "A" ...

Cheri,
I'm just not the WalMart expert that you are. Online won't help much with us being on the move so much, I expect. And, for the next two weeks, we'll be about 25 miles away from the closest WalMart. But, Google says Cedarville has two grocery stores, so maybe we'll be O.K.

Saving more money by using Online is really interesting, though.

Glad to read that Lola James is perking up a bit.

Well, here we are in the Upper Peninsula. Haven't been up here since 1967 and never to the area we are in now. It looks great, and there are as many Florida license plates here as there are northern plates in Florida in February.

However, the weather forecast for today includes a heat advisory with heat index in the low 100's. It seems like we have dragged Florida weather with us for most of the trip. If we survive tonight's storm, though, it sounds just wonderful for the rest of the week and weekend...lows in the 50's and highs in the low 80's.

Thanks for the offer to collect our purchases for us. However, if I need something enough to order it, don't think I want to wait until late October to collect it! I am relying on local options as we travel as much as possible. Our UPS store does a great job of forwarding our mail, but doesn't seem to have caught on to sending our packages on automatically as they are supposed to do. They are overnighting two of our mail order prescriptions to us today in order to catch up.

There are three options at Lazy Days. The one you mentioned above, the Flying J next door has a strong signal as well. Its a pay as you go also. The third option is to go to the Service Pavillion at Lazy Days were the Starbucks coffee is and its free to use. Of corse, it's for all of us that live there while our rigs are being serviced.

Thanks, for the additional WiFi info, Dave. Wish we would have known that during our last wait. We'll know next time.

Word has it that a project is in the works to extend the wifi which Crown club uses to the rest of the bays so that anyone who is staying in there coach while it's being repaired will have access to the web. Fly J signal is very marginal at the bay area, linkspot doesn't even show up. If you have the ability to connect an outside antenna to your wifi card, that will help with the weak signals.
