2012 Spring Campout - Woodward Cave Campground, Woodward, PA

May 18 (Fri) - 20 (Sun), 2012

Site Cost $23 per night, $3 per day AC charge payable by honor system prior to departure.

Participants must send a check for $64 (2 nights) made out to Woodward Cave.

I must receive your check by April 27, 2012 (cut off date).

Important...I need to know the length of your RV and if you will be towing a car.

Note if you desire to arrive on Thursday, May 17, add $23 to the value of the check.

Please note each site is a 30 amp, with water. There is a dump station at the campground exit.

Meals:

Friday Dinner - Hamburgers, Hot dogs, and Cowboy Baked Beans provided at $5 per unit. Bring a shared salad, coleslaw, etc, condiments, and your beverage choice plus eating service. We may need an extra grill.

Saturday Breakfast - 9:00 AM - Pot Luck

Saturday Dinner - 6:00 PM - Pot Luck

Sunday Breakfast - 9:00 AM Pot Luck Left overs.



Special Travel Notes:

1) For those traveling East on RT 45, the small town of Millheim, PA, RT 45 is the main street and is very narrow. Slow travel and care is suggested as parking is allowed on both sides of the street in some sections....please use caution!

2) DO NOT use Quarry Road off of RT 45 to the campground!! It is a single lane country road.

3) To safely arrive at the campground, make sure you take Pine Creek Road off of Rt 45 in the small village of Woodward....check your maps, GPS, and information shown on the Woodward Cave web site.

4) For those who used RT 322 west, then RT144 to RT 45 east.... for your return home, DO NOT use the RT 322 and RT 144 intersection to travel East on RT 322...it is one of the most dangerous intersections in PA! I will provide a print out of a safe alternative route at the campground.
