A few years ago I read about a theme park in Pennsylvania that has kept entrance prices low to encourage family participation. It was noted that this may be the best buy in family theme parks in the country. It's supposed to be a fantastic place to take a family, but I can't recall any more than that. Does that ring any bells? Can anyone suggest some names that I might look into in my search? Thanks in advance.

HI Ken check out this site http://www.knoebels.com/ I don't know if this is what you want. There is also http://www.800padutch.com/dutchw.html which is in Lancaster with a campground next to it. Old Mill Stream Campground. I'm sure you don't mean Hershey Park. That is really expensive. Good luck

Knoebels is free admission, and you pay for the attractions, which is nice, as you only pay for what you want to do. Knoebels also has a campground. As for Dutch Wonderland, and Hershey Park, I guess it's all in what you consider low. With 4 kids, I don't find either one of those to be a bargain. They do have passes so you can visit both Hershey Parkand Dutch Wonderland.

Ken,,You will enjoy Knoebels. The ride prices are reasonable. Your kids will enjoy it.If you camp next to the park, It's an old CG, spaces are small, with limited hookups. They have a CG about 5 mi.away called Lake Glory. They have a free shutle bus to the park. We prefer J&D campground-just a short drive to the park from there. 570-356-7700 - nice campground and nice people there.

That sounds like Bland Park in Tipton, PA, or even DeGrosso's Amusement Park and Water Park just across the highway.
