Cleveland to Niagara Lake & back

My wife and I are renting a Class B RV for our first RV'ing experience. We plan to drive from Cleveland to Niagra Falls, then to Niagra Lake, and then back to Cleveland.

We will be out on the road for three nights. I'm hoping to give the DW an amazing experience because that is on the pathway to us getting an RV

Any suggestions on places to camp, sites to see, places to eat? We love great food. We would like at least 1 night in a remote and beautiful place and where we can do a short boondocking test and enjoy nature.

If you're going to the better scenic falls, you'll need to cross into Canada and that requires passports. In your title you had Niagara spelled correctly, in you text you didn't. I couldn't find a Niagara (or Niagra) Lake, so I don't know where you're referring. I'd suggest after a visit to Niagara Falls you go 50 miles east to the Finger Lakes area of NY. Many nice RV camps around there. You can Google and find info about various RV parks in the area.

Thanks, the correct spelling of the turn around point is Niagara-on-the-Lake, in Ontario. We have passports. The Finger Lakes is a great option too - we've been to Cooperstown and that area is gorgeous. Thanks.

Be sure to read this link about traveling across the border. You'll need proof of insurance among other things.

Canada Welcomes You!

We are sure you will enjoy your short trip to Niagara Falls. I would recommend you cross into Canada at Buffalo, as that is the crossing we always use.
The KOA on Lundy's Lane is a top notch campground and a bus leaves from the front of the campground direct to the falls.
Niagara on The Lake is another great site to visit as well as all the wineries along the route.
The Class B MH will make a great tour vehicle to see this beautiful area of Ontario.

If you have time to do a winery tour and tasting I would recommend Inniskillin winery and it is located just off the main road to Niagara on the Lake. On the way there you can check out the Spanish aerial cars.
Enjoy the area as it will be crowded this time of the year.
