Fall 2005 MidAtlantic Campers Rally

Fall 2005 Campout Details...

The weekend AFTER Labor Day - September 9, 10, 11 at Mill Bridge Village Campground (site of the 2005 National Rally)- www.millbridge.com

Activities: Group pot-luck breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday - everyone bring something to share (I'll provide coffee and hot water for tea or hot cocoa). Covered dish supper Saturday evening - Bring a main dish AND a salad OR a dessert, Chinese auction around the campfire Saturday (bring any useable item, especially pertaining to camping - artfully wrapped), and lots of camping chatter all weekend. No organized tours, but PLENTY of sights to visit in the area. Please bring wood for the campfire if you can. There is a large "lounge" area we can use for meals if the weather is bad.

Sites: We have blocked a number of "Tree-named" sites along the stream (if you look at their map). All sites have electric, water, sewer. There is Cable TV (satellite), but you can get more stations on your antenna. The fee covers two adults and 2 children. $30.00 per nite.

Reservations: All reservations must be made by August 28. Contact me at r.koelsch@verizon.net! I need payment for your entire stay when you make your reservation. Please let me know if you want to stay extra nites either before or after the weekend. I also need to know the type and size of your RV.

Registration: Everyone needs to register at the office upon arrival, but you do not pay them direct. Check in time is 1:00 PM, check out is 12:00 noon.

We had GREAT time this weekend. Jersey Bob wins the prize for the most prolific cook! His daughter, Donna, gets my vote for the best entree in the covered dish supper with her wonderful chicken! Thanks to all who came for making it a nice, quiet, relaxing weekend. Sites are already reserved for the spring campout.
