Thanks for the info Bob - thought it might be interesting to check out. We are seriously leaning towards either the Diplomat or Camelot - much depending on the floor plans once we see them in person. Just had a great week at Hilton Head - if you ever go that way check out the Motorcoach Resort - definately first class.

Bill, looks like either model comes standard with the 400ISL which has been a great engine for the MH industry...

If you're interested in comparing Newmar to Monaco I would highly recommend a call to Howard RV in Wilmington,NC....
Where's the closest Monaco dealer to you guys?

There is a Monaco Dealer in Pennsylvania - I have been in contact with DeMartini both in California and Indiana - we are planning a trip to the Monaco factory next month and hopefully take couple out for a drive. I'll look at the Newmar - don't know what would be a similar unit in their line.

Hi Bill! We are also in Hershey. The Newmar Dutchstar is similar to the coaches you are looking at in the Monaco line. If you have any questions about the Dutchstar we just treded a 2006 and know the line well. We are staying at Hersehy Highmeadow Campgroung. paul
