I understand there's a CG for active or retired Military on the edge of Pax River.....

Charlie,

The place TipanRing is talking about is Solomons Island Navy Rec Center - one of the best camp grounds anywhere. It's about 15 miles from where I live and we go there a couple times a year with the RV and boat. PM me for more information if you like - depends on when you are looking at going it gets tight sometimes. A great place

I did forget to mention it is for DOD/military personnel. If you don't qualify let me know there are a couple of other camp grounds in the area - make it a weekend we are going and you can be my guest.

just got back from Point Lookout SP. It's about 12-15 miles south of Lexington Park and pretty nice. Tulip loop has full H/U, Green Point Electric only but RIGHT on the water.
