Sorry - I've been really busy with the start-up of the semester at the university. Haven't been online too much.
No, the numbers are still the same. Maybe we can have a discussion over the weekend on how to generate more interest.
I'll be arriving on Thursday. I'll be there all day Friday until about 4:00 when I have to leave to attend a dinner for a short time. I should be back by around 7.
Bring as much wood as you want to bring. We usually have a group fire each evening and in the mornings during breakfast.
I think I am frying a turkey for the pot luck supper. I'll probably grill some beef for the breakfasts.

The Fall Campout is now history! We had a good weekend.Looking forward to the Spring Rally. Any one who has not been to Lancaster County for one of the MidAtlantic rallies is missing warm hospitality in PA Dutch Country. Come on down!!

A great vote of thanks to Rick and all who put together the fall campout. It was a great time and we met a lot of really nice people. As usuall at these events the main event was feeding our faces, and we sure did a lot of that. The pot luck breakfast and dinners were great !! This was my first Chineese Auction was VERY INTERESTING !!
The weekend could not have been any more relaxing, the biggest activity of the weekend was our continious moving of our chairs to keep in the shade and next was resting our jaws from all the talking
Here is a link to a few pictures I snapped over the weekend. As you will see food was plentiful !
Thanks David

This was a GREAT weekend!
GREAT to meet Dave and Ute (Toterman).
GREAT to renew friendships with old friends.
GREAT food.
GREAT weather (except for early Friday evening).
GREAT location.
GREAT food (oh, I already said that).
We had an informal business meeting this morning. I asked if anyone was interested in changing the location to another campground. It was enthusiastically unanimous to stay at Mill Bridge. I also challenged everyone in attendance to return for the Spring campout (weekend after Mothers Day 2007) AND to invite and bring at least one additional family. The goal is to have 16 rigs at the Spring 2007 outing. I also challenged all in attendance to frequent the forums and to increase traffic in the MidAtlantic forum to generate more interest for future events.
Steve (Jestme13) suggested the possibility of a Regional Rally for the east coast. All thought it was a good idea. I challenged Steve to look into it in more detail and head it up if he desired.
Also discussed was locations for future National Rallies. Wisconsin Dells was a consensus location. Steve (jestme13) may be interested in collaborationg with other folks to organize a rally in this area.
ANYONE is invited to MidAtlantic Campouts whenever they occur. While these events are not too organized and there are no formal activities beyond the breakfasts, dinner, and campfire, they are always enjoyable and relaxing.
REMEMBER - the Spring 2007 MidAtlantic Campout is scheduled for the weekend AFTER Mothers Day, 2007.
P.S. - Deb and I are headed to either Williamsburg or Myrtle Beach for the week after Christmas. Anyone want to join us???
