Good evening, folks

We met a number of you at Mill Bridge during your Lancaster rally.

Need some suggestions for a quite CG with swimming pool or swimming lake, play ground and fishing pond within an hour driving radius of Delaware County area.

We're in the process of planning a weekend trip and taking one of our daughter's and her four year son along.

Any and all suggestions and recommendations are welcome.

Thanks for your help.

Howdy. Hope all is well.

Not sure if you are interested in NJ or how long it would take you to get there, but there are two nice CG's in Cape May county. Beachcomber in Cape May (availability might be tough during the summer months) and Big Timber Lake in Cape May Courthouse. The latter is a little further from the beaches so has more availability.

But you can drive into Wildwood (about 10 miles or so) to experience the fun of the boardwalk or the beach (Wildwood is still a free beach). Or you could drive into Cape May to enjoy the quaintness. And you musn't forget Sunset Beach - the only beach on the east coast you can watch the sun set over [what is still considered] the Atlantic Ocean.

Hi John,

All is well. Thank you for asking.

I've tried a number of times to get into Beachcomber without success.

Big Timber Lake – great CG. We were there two weeks ago.

Both my wife and I went to West Catholic in Philadelphia. We held our annual gathering in Wildwood July 9th.

We are looking for something a little closer than Cape May County since my youngest daughter and her four year old son will be joining us.

So we're trying to stay within an hour or less from home.

We tried the KOA listed as West Chester / Philadelphia and they are BOOKED. So we made reservations at the Jellystone Tall Pines in Elmer NJ. We haven't been there but will provide a report when we get back.

Thanks for the information.

Drive safe and enjoy the journey.

Jim
