Towing Installation Services

Hello,

I was wondering if there's anyone here from MD-PA or VA that knows of a good service or shop where I can have installed a lighting kit and a breaking system for a FIAT 500 that will be towed by a THOR ACE 30.2
We already installed the baseplate, we need an inexpensive way to have the tow bar and a braking system to start full timing in February. (All of the RV dealers nearby charge way too much for parts and service.)
I figure we could get the parts (etrailer or the like) if someone here could suggest a good and knowledgeable expert that is willing to work with us bringing the parts and can install the lights and cables for the breaking system in our toad.

Thanks in advance!

I think you mean a 'braking system' for stopping, not 'breaking system.' I used to rent out my kids as a breaking system, they could destroy most anything.

A start would be go to a good Uhaul dealer, they often install towing gear. If they can't do it, they can refer you to a local installer. You could also ask at a Camping World, or similar RV dealer, although CW can be a gamble, some are good and competent and others tend to do pretty rough jobs on installations and repairs. (JMHO)

Perhaps look for a smaller RV service shop that is not a dealer? You may get a better rate.

Buy a NSA ReadyBrute with integrated brake. Give it to a local independent RV shop to install.
