Wake up sleeping beauty
Is there anyone in the mid Atlantic planning a trip? It has been a quiet forum for a while. I know there are campers out there. DW and I have already planned out several trips and booked the spots. Ready to get things going. Leaving Friday morning for three days on the Carolina lakes. Maggie valley, Virginia Beach and somewhere in SC late summer, Fall in Vermont and hopefully Arizona's deserts in Jan 17. What say you?

Got back yesterday from Rose Hill, NC. Our dog Luther ran a Master Hunt Test and passed. My husband is handling him now and wants to qualify for the Master National in St. Louis in late September and the Master Amateur in Georgia next spring. We are going back to Kinston, NC on the 23rd for the Neuse River Hunt Test and home again. Then H. Cooper Black near Cheraw in Mid-May and on to Sylvania, GA to Taylor Farm Kennels for the Women's Handler Seminar. In July we hope to go to the WIT Rally in Iowa. And probably a couple trips not yet slated. The only way Jimmy gets a day off is to leave town so we are working on some R&R!

We were in Naples, Fl over Easter.
Staying local this coming weekend and heading to Hickory Run State Park. Looking forward to a less than 2 hour drive for once.

Lots of great place to stay in the Naples area.
Club Marco, Neapolitan, Silver lake (all three take travel trailers) and there also a couple of motorcoach only.
We love the area. The water is clear, the restaurants are great and in the middle of winter here in Central Pa, it is paradise. :-)

I did mean Club Naples. The Koa is OK, but for the price, I would take Club Naples...
Swimming in the Gulf depends a lot of the weather. This year is was cooler and windy. We did swim in the gulf in January.
I would look at reserving spots by June. The winter months are a busy time.

Transitioning from backpack to travel trailer. Two overnight trips complete. most everything works and ready for first multi night trip this weekend. Only grocery shopping and vehicle inspection remaining. Then leaving a few hours for Pocomoke State River Park on eastern shore of Maryland. This shall be a longest drive with the trailer and longest stay out.
We shall see how this goes then plan more trips.
