Jesse and I got aprouched by a local reporter yesterday at the supermarket. This was on todays front page.
Frankie's allegiance to the Boston team was evident yesterday as he walked through Carriagetown Plaza in Amesbury dressed in a Red Sox jacket and joined by his 4-year-old son, Jesse, who is also a fan.
"Me and my wife are both fanatics," Frankie said. "We must've watched every game this season."
It was a record that was almost challenged Sunday night - the final game of the American League Championship Series.
Heading home to Amesbury from a trip to upstate New York to visit friends, the family's mobile home overheated. Deciding that if they called a tow truck, it would ruin their chance to see the big game, the family pulled into a rest stop and watched it on their satellite television.
The couple even traveled to Phoenix this past summer during interleague play, as part of a special package offered to members of Red Sox Nation. The package also gave them autographed baseballs and a chance to meet Mike Lowell.
"He's the greatest guy," Frankie said of the third baseman.
Frankie said he doesn't envision a sweep of the World Series but believes the Sox will come out on top.
"We'll get it in five games, six games," he said.

When did you get a 'mobile home'? Is it a double wide?????
Seriously, what paper was that in? Did you buy a whole bunch of them so Jesse could have them as souveniers when he gets older?
What a great time to be a Boston area sports fan!!!!!

Well Frankie, apparently your interview with the press was the magic for the Sox! I hope you didn't celebrate too much last night.

Well, since the Sox weren't playing the Yankees, he should be rooting for your team, right??? And now if he wants to be a winner, he will say he's a Sox fan, right???
