On the trip home from the national, we expierenced some technical difficulties with the truck. On top of the trouble that we had on the trip down this didn't make us feel very good. Fortunatly we were traveling with Doris & Gil, Lynn & George, Frankie & Karen, and our constant sidekicks Vet Man a.k.a. Bill & Nancy. Our truck faltered three times before we made it to Joisey. Each time our fellow NorEasters stayed with us while I made repairs. On the final pit stop we had a small party on the Appalachian Trail complete with music from George. The kids took it all in stride and made the best of the heat. We even discovered that you can have pizza delivered on the Appalachian Trail. And we had a visit from Jim & Linda (Horsepowerfan)who offerd to help. Carol, Tobi and I want to take this chance to say Thank You for being such good friends and showing that you care. God bless you everyone.

Hey, anyone who gives us a free rustproofing, is our kind of friend!
Tom, it was our pleasure...without your breakdown, I would never have known about the pizza delivery, and I might never have hiked (well, walked, well, stepped my foot on, well, looked at) the Appalchian trail, and I never would have gotten to hear George make up a song about your troubles.
I might even sneak that picture on line (yep, the one with yoru good side facing the camera), once we get back from the next trip (the camera is out in the trailer).

Well, isn't this all just the beauty of RVing? Not the breaking down part, but helpin' each other out and makin' new friends, singing new songs and discovering new places and things along the way? It really makes me want get out there and GO! (if we just didn't have this pesky work thing to do 5 days a week )

I wish there was more I could have done to help out, Tom. There's no way I could have just blown by youse guys without stopping (to be nosy and take pictures LOL ) Uh, I mean, help out if possible. I know you'd have done the same for us (be nosy, take pictures ).

I can't wait until we all get together again. Have a safe and happy 4th everyone!
