Never mind..they are totally booked up!

Some of you prob got this. At Deer Run in Schaghticoke NY May 16-18 free camping for all military, police, fire, medical, emt & teachers.
That covers a lot of our group and it's also value season for the rest of us (all campsites are $25).

We're thinking of taking advantage of this...anyone want to join our family camping? If so, post it, and maybe we can get sites together.

I understand...just thought I would put it out there in case anyone wanted to take advantage of the price (or the lack of a price for some). I know some try to camp as much as they can, and it wouldn't, of course, replace the Spring Rally. I'll be away part of April and May, so this will prob be our first trip out.

Hey Bill..I thought I would see an update in your sig from an earlier post you posted. It's hard to beat what you have, I bet!

Hi ALL,

Hey Doris, thanks for the info !! I will think about it, after all it is a nice campground and also kind of close to home, as well as being a good price !!! Only thing is as of now I won't be getting back home till like the first week of May !!! I will keep my eye on this post. I am guessing it's only active police & fire, not retired,LOL!!!

Hi Doris, At this point after looking for 3 weeks we have decided to stay with what we have. We could not find a floor plan we liked for what we wanted to spend. Guess that is the bad part of buying so many RV over the years. We will but unless we find exactly what we want. See you in the spring.

Al, I'll call and ask them tomorrow.I think it's a great question, and you certainly would be deserving of it!

The good news Al is yes, it includes retired police, as long as you have an ID badge to show that. The bad news is they are 100% booked. All filled, maybe another time.

Not yet..Lynn and George will be here tomorrow for dinner, and we leave bright and early Saturday morning. But I'm more worried about where you'll be Frankie..just so you know, we have a house sitter with a pitbull..and not an "angel" of a pitbull either LOL.
