I always assumed that RVs can't use the tunnels in Boston because of the propane. Yesterday, I had to go to Boston and noticed 3 different motorhomes in the tunnel. A class C and a Class A going in and another Class A on the way out. 2 out of the three had Mass plates and both class A's had toads. Aren't we supposed to avoid the tunnels in Boston? Have I been taking the long way for nothing?

I've also seen RV's once in a while going thru the Sumner. Never seen one stopped. But you're right, propane is restricted thru the tunnels.

Tim ,in all honesty, even if they didn't enforced the propane issue, its not worth going that way.Going through Boston is a pain no matter what you drive. The extra 1/2 hour it takes to go around is nothing compared to the aggrevation.I hit a dip in the road once and almost flipped the MH.My bad for going to fast but ,the expresseway still needs a lot of work.

Traffic is a pain there on the expressway. It took 30 minutes to get to MGH from Norwood on Friday at 2:00 and 2 hours to get back to Norwood after my appointment at 4:00! I don't think 128 is any picnic either though.
