Hi All,
007 what do you mean by "make arrangements for pets" are they not allowed on this trip?

Pets into Canada
Your same pet back to U.S.A.
Do not see any problems into Canada, getting pet back to U.S.A. maybe.
Both entry's will require all shots and papers showing ownership. Its something that you will have to look into by calling customs and getting info when your at the Border they will remove any meat even if you purchased in US before crossing and have sales slip.
We have shopped after arriving in Canada and used all meats before entering US Customs they will board coach and check refer. We double check refers after inspection and make sure refer doors are closed correctly have found some that were not closed correctly.
I have no problem with you bringing pets.

Usually AKC registration and Vet Health certificates along with a rabis vaccination tag are all thats needed to visit Canada. We have shown dogs in Canada for many yrs. We have dear friends who live in Peggys Cove "a must see" and our new puppy (root motor came from Halifax NS, small world, aay!
Rodger, please put Pat and I and the dogs for the Canada tour. What about Cape Breton Island to.
We know some good CG's when we get back into Maine. The Fly Way, or , Air Way is much improved since the first time we went across it.

Was planning on going to P.E.I. second week but if people are interested in Cape we can take a vote.
I have toured the Cape also we take a tour van, drivers know areas that we would never find and give you a history of area as you travel, out of the KOA at the base of Kelly's Mountain. Steep grade down to KOA on route #105 to Sydney ferry port to Newfoundland.
Bras d'Or Lakes campground over looks this great rise.
Welcome aboard I have others going also.

Roger, this sounds like a fun trip but not for us this year. I am anxious to get to Nova Scotia but I don't think we have the vacation time this year to do that trip and others we have planned.

Lynnvt,
Traveling thru this region of the Nor'Eastern area will delight anyone who ventures on the trip.
It could take a month to visit the whole Maritime area, we see something different every trip and this will be 5th time.
The Tattoo alone is worth the trip and people who work can see that and return for work the next week and will have seen sites as Reversing Falls, The Pots on bay of Fundy, Peggy's Cove and the Halifax water front boardwalk and Casino.
Thats why I'm leaving the start time open as to what people will want to do.

We were in Nova Scotia in July (via cruise from NY). It was a great trip. We were at the Reversing Falls at the perfect time, and got great pictures (although it wasn't what I thought it was). I loved Peggy's Cove and am having poster size pics from there made up to hang. Just a beautiful, quaint area. I found a great tour guide who took us around the entire day in a van.

Darn, I just realized this could conflict with our plans to attend the FMCA national rally in St Paul MN in July. Our plan was to come back from the west coast and pass through MN for the rally on our way home. This retirement stuff is way to complicated
