Hey Nor'Easter folks, George and I have been wanting to go back to Cape Hatteras one of these springs and next year looks like a good year for that! Al and Sandy have already mentioned that they would be interested. Anyone else? Any time towards the end of April works. I know this is starting early but...

Consider if you will an "in place" agent that can make a "1 state further south" camping event a very enjoyable possibility.
It's not that much more south! Think about it!

Bob Russo is down here with his 3 grand children and you're not going to pry the sand out from in between their little toes.
We're going to Hatteras next spring for the North Carolina State WIT Club rally in Camp Hatteras Campground out in Waves, NC. I think it's going to be at the end of April.
I've been to Hatteras, very awesome place but the grocery store is soooooooo far from the campground and you know we have to go at least 3 times a day. Ask DJ or MikeT.
The restaurant on Ocracoke Island is a must for lunch. We took the ferry from the main island out to Ocracoke and back. It took a while to get through the line at the terminal in Hatteras but we got there. Nice ride back and forth. The Hatteras terminal is a nice place to visit while you're waiting.
In 2004 we stayed in Ocean Waves Campground.
You can also make this a pseudo "Regional Rally" and invite folks from the other regions and make it into something nice for all the East Coast members. NC is Hitchhiker's home state.

Well Driver you are right, the grocery is a ways to get to but that's part of what we like about Hatteras. You have the beach, the sand and the ocean, gotta love it. Stock your fridge before you get there (I can't imagine that any Nor'eaters would starve). Maybe we can coordinate it with the WIT rally so that we could see you guys too.

What is Wit? I can't figure out if it's a really smart bunch of RVer's or a bunch of really funny RVer's.
We're interested Lynn. We'll prob have to start down in March to get there in time LOL!
