We had a great weekend with Gil and Doris! Even managed a campfire before the rain began on Saturday night. We really enjoyed the campground, it's a very nice spot.
We are thinking of another camping weekend at the end of Sept. If anyone is interested in joining us, we would love to have you. We can try to beat the big fire we had two years ago! How much wood can you burn in one weekend?? 1/2 cord or more?
Hope all the Nor'Easters are having a great summer!

Lynn! Ain't no such thing as too much campin'!

I hope that you can persuade more Nor'Easters to come to Myrtle Beach in October! It'll be great to see all of our good friends again and make new friends too!

Please make your reservations soon because there are fewer that 20 HH sites left since we booked all of those that we could get! We specifically chose Columbus Day Weekend so folks would have an extra vacation day.

Careful, don't warp the side of that refrigerator or blister the paint on the hearth again!

I think we were looking at the weekend of the 17th, since Gil has a Yankee game to go to on the 25th.
Deer Run is such a nice campground. It's not far from the Racino/racetrack either, for those that like to try a little Lady Luck!

I think we may go to either Gansevoort or a place close to home, depending on the weather instead of Deer Run. Where is everyone? No postings of campouts anymore?
Is this board essentially dead?

A question - how was your experience at Deer Run? We NEED to make time for a couple more outings and Deer Run is only about 10-12 miles from home for us instead of our normal favorite @ 115 miles. I have heard mixed reviews over the years, but nothing recently. Of course, driving through Mechanicville on NY 67 can be a "jarring" experience.

We like Deer Run a lot. We've camped there many times. We need to hit the Carter's Store in Lake George and a couple other places up there and the exit 17N campground has a 3 day special and we haven't been there in years, since it stopped being C 2 C, so we thought we would go there (weather permitting).
Yes Al, I saw your response..:(
