Dewinterize in New Hampshire now?
I would like to do this fairly soon. Does anyone think I should wait?
You all know about this NE weather, just wait a minute. We are anxious
to get ready for the season. I don't like having a "season" but that's a
fact of living in NH.
Thanks, David

David-
I live about an hour-and-a-half from you, and go by the old farmer's advice for our part of New England, which is not to plant anything you can't lose to frost before Memorial Day.
In reality, an RV takes longer to freeze than a plant, but why take the chance? Yours is a 2018 coach... better safe than sorry.
It only takes an hour or two to dewinterize. If you're not planning to take trips, I'd wait.

I'm in Connecticut and normally wait till mid May or so but I have plans to head out in the first part of May. The trailer is brand new so I'm thinking of dewinterizing in about two weeks so I have time to check things out good make sure everything is ok. I do have a polar package and can just turn on the heat if we have a real cold snap.

If you have a TT or MH nights are not cold enough now to cause a problem and if its located in the sun during the day temps will help.
Problem is no sun rain or snow end of week.
We were heading out mid-April for FL. vacation in the school times so end of March was ready.
Sanitize the plumbing system for the next camping season as you do it. Bottom of this link.

I’m in southern central NH. We still have snow in the yard. From Friday. Our first trip out is the first weekend in May. We'll wait until last week in April or the first full week with out any snow, whichever comes first. That’s just dewinterization, though. We have had the rig out on the roads to make sure it ran ok.

I'm in a "holding" pattern here in NE. Ohio. Been for 2 weeks, as I usually like to get out the first time the first week in April. Just getting too many low 20 nights, with the next day only at 32 or 35. I see a temperature break in the weather here in a few days. I watch the ski area reports for VT and NH and it's still like mid-winter...If they tried they could stay open till June, as Killington does.

I'm in Michigan. We put ours away ready to go.
Dewinterize takes a few minutes and won't do it till our first trip.
Hook up a hose (or fill the tank) to flush the system of antifreeze, fill the water tank, open the water heater bypass, and off we go.

I'm looking at the weather forecast and chuckling at the folks who dewinterized.

We're in SW New Hampshire. Just got back from our four months of travels in the south. We've been running the wet bay heater, and have the heat set at 55 in the coach just in case. My wet bay temp monitor says it is averaging about 40-45 degrees now.
I'd suggest waiting until the end of the month at least before dewinterizing.

Our shakedown trip is May 4-6. It’s snowing today. The heater works fine; used that last weekend. I suppose we can always clean the camper up once we get to the campground. Probably less likely to track mud in than we would if we tried to do it now...

Just did it this weekend. Then took a day ride to York Beach, ME and Hampton Beach, NH.
