Drivers License Requirement

Does anyone know if a comm. drivers license is required for a class A MH in New Jersey ?

If you are NOT driving professionally, you don't need a commercial drivers license in NJ. I have a 40 foot DP with air brakes and just have a regular NJ DL.

NO state requires a COMMERCIAL license for a privately owned and driven MH. Some states DO require a higher class of license (but still not a Commercial) for heavy/long RV's though.

In Pa if its over 26 k pounds you need a special drivers lic but its not called a CDl
