Okay guys and girls,we are doing a Pasta Pot luck.We need donations of Sauces, pasta, cheese, meatballs, chicken parm, sausage and peppers, etc and bread.I also need a couple of burners.I am going to cook all the Pasta earlier in the day or day before and we will heat it to order.I have done this before and it works great.I have a 4 segment pasta cooker,we need a couple more pots with baskets so serving food will move quicker.

I'll be away for two weeks until we leave to rally, so I'll take an easy way this time..cheese. Or, if needed, I could bring stuff for antipasta or salad. Not being Italian, I'll need some guidance. If it's cheese, that would be the easiest for us at this time. I assume you want something that comes in a block, and the thingy that "shaves" it to sprinkle it on? Just assign me something, and an amount, and I'll bring it. I may not be Italian, but I do love to eat!
Oh, and I have a spaghetti pot, with a basket I can bring.

Chrissy will make a tomatoe sauce with her homemade meatballs and sausage. I will also bring a couple loafs of Arthur Ave Bread.

This will be a neat idea.

Can someone let me know what to buy for cheese? I'm looking to get the stuff we grate ourselves..not the pre grated stuff. I'll also be in town on Saturday, and can pick up bread.

Frankie,
Thanks for organizing this! We have Italian experts here so of course it's going to be great!
I will bring my family recipe meat sauce. Perhaps not true Italian since it came from my Finnish mother, but everyone seems to like it. We can bring our big cooker but we don't have an inside strainer liner or whatever it's called.
