Can't seem to get a direct link to the park map, but you can go here

http://www.turning-stone.com/lodging/rvpark/

Click on "park map" and scroll down to the map.

In 03 we were in the White Birch 600's. The White Pine, 700's are closer to the pavilion but only has 17 sites with 2 pull throughs, maybe the River Birch, 100's would be better?
I believe all sites are full hook ups.

What's your preference?

BTW, when we stopped by last Fall the young lady suggested that we wait till Spring to make arrangements. A telephone call this morning got me to the main casino switchboard and that operator says I can call after 9AM, M-F and speak to someone familiar with the RV Park. I will do that tomorrow and confirm the full hook ups as well as the best time to start making final arrangements.

Hi ParTheCourse

Turning Stone sounds great. I sure had a lot of fun there last time. I'm hoping to get another chance to visit my money. I think that were ever you put us will be great. I don't think they have a bad spot in the campgrounds.

Spoke with representative (Larry) of The Villages at Turning Stone this morning and confirmed that all sites do have 50 / 30 amp, sewer, water and cable. Effective soon after opening in April they will have WiFi through out the park.

Also learned that they no longer offer group rates on holiday weekends. The day rate is $42.77, however the group rate of $30.00 will be extended to any of our members who wish to arrive early or stay later.

Group rates are, $30 for 10 to 24 and $28 for 25 or more and are available for other than holiday w/e.

To insure that we are locked in I made tentative arrangements for Columbus w/e Oct. 7, 8 & 9, in the White Pine Village (700) area, with spill over into 10 sites in the White Birch (600) area approximately 20 yards away.

We have the pavilion Fri. and Sat. evening and Sun. morning, with their indoor multipurpose room as backup in case of inclement weather.

This is all tentative and Larry is willing to make adjustments to meet our needs but requests that such changes be made asap .

I will be receiving the details in the mail in a day or so and will keep you posted.

Glad you were able to touch base and reserve early. I know I waited too long the last time and wasn't able to get closer to the pavilion..although I loved the sites we had anyway

So it's $42.77 for Friday (with tax, I assume), Saturday and Sunday, and if we have over 10 on the day before and/or after, it would be $30? Do you know if we can we get the Good Sam rate for the Holiday nights, since we won't have a group rate?

That's great they offered you the room as well..they wanted us to pay for both last time, so we went with just the pavilion. I assume we'll just split that again?

Did he mention if the wifi comes with a charge?

Oh one other thing..if you haven't already, you might want to ask if we can get a package with the discounts we got last time. Someone told me about them, and I asked, and they said sure, and they sent me a letter so I could come and claim them..it was in addition to the playing cards the campground gave us. I had to go over to the casino to pick them up by where the buses come in and get theirs.

Thanks.

Up date on some questions asked:
The cost of WiFi has not been determined yet, probably included but?
$42.77 includes all taxes
$25.00 for pavilion no charge for the room if we are forced in by weather.
The $30.00, group rate will be extend to any of our members who would like to arrive a day or two early and/or remain longer, no need for the 10 minimum.
