Boog, are you saying that you don't want to be wagon master for the fall rally? I also agree that you shouldn't take it personally. It is a long distance for many, especially if you have children and/or work full time. We are holding off making any definitive decisions because our daughter will be doing her oral defense sometime at the end of September, beginning of October. Until we have that date we can't make other plans. However if you have decided that you don't want to be wagon master, hopefully someone else will step up to the plate before too long. The brew-ha-ha at the last rally was, in my opinion, unacceptable. If I in anyway contributed to it, I apologize and will make every effort in the future not to engage in that type of confrontational discussion.

I'm with you Lynn. I walked away a few times and if it ever happened again, I would walk away every time it starts up again.

We are away Columbus Day weekend, or we would have made the rally, because for us it was 3 1/2 hours and doable, but for many, it was apparently too far for a weekend.

Hi All,

Well first off I to feel that the confrontational discussion was completly unnacceptable !! I am sure that the new folks there, where shaking there heads and saying what the heck did I get into!! I don't need this S@#t when I go away!! Camping is a time to relax and be stress free!!

So as one of the remaining original members (June 2000) left in the group. I am sorry to say, that if this stuff keeps up! I will just leave the group! Life is to short for stuff like this to go on!!

As for me and the Fall Rally! I was not going to make it either, but it had nothing to do with who was running it, who was going or distance! For me like all the rallies I have missed over the years, it was the timing!! As always I will keep an eye on the site, and if something happens when the timing is good for me I will be there!

Boog I am sorry that your first rally and attempt at being a wagon master went so poorley! Hope we did not chase you or others away !!

Hope you all enjoy your summer !!!
