Hey Nor'Easter Friends!
We are meeting up with Gil & Doris for dinner or lunch or something (not yet decided) on February 4th in Lake George (restaurant also not yet decided). Would anyone else like to join in? George and I might actually spend the night there and make it a mini getaway.

Hey Lynn, Sounds good to us. As long as the weather doesn't lock us in, we need a week end away. Let me know the details. Look forward to seeing you. Tom

Hey Lynn..I know you mentioned the hotel room..and Lake George is exit 21..but our home campground has cabins (rustic, but cabins..with a "lodge" with a fireplace) at exit 17N...any interest in having me check the prices? 15 minutes to Lake George. I also think that is winter carnival weekend.

ah, it is..and we wouldn't want to miss this:
February 4 & 5
Opening Ceremonies Sat. at 12:00 noon in Shepard Park

Dog Pulls - Sat. & Sun 9:00 am. Beach Road

Outhouse Races - Sat. & Sun. 12:30 on the ice.
Encampment of the 1700's - Sat. & Sun all day at Shepard Park Beach

Chicken Wing Cook-off - Sat. 12-2 p.m. in Shepard Park, look for the warming tent.

Longest Drive Contest on the ice!

Tom & Carol, that's so cool that you are going to join us! What fun!

Well, in the first time in the almost twenty years, we've been members, our campground closed for the winter LOL. I'll be looking around for a hotel for Saturday night (we'll get there early Saturday..or maybe Friday night..we'll see LOL) with the entertainment, etc. My son is getting in soon, and I'm trying to finish up the stuff for his birthday party Wednesday, so he doesn't see or hear anything(we had 15 people coming..it grew to 33..how does that happen?) but tomorrow morning, while they sleep in, I'll have time to look around.
When are you guys coming, and for how long?

No other takers?

Gee, I'm not sure if we'll all fit in your room on Sunday night..I'm sure they'll offer rollaways

Let's hope it gets a little colder, or those outhouses will be racing on land!

Any idea Lynn and Tom, what time youse guys will get in? We usually eat at Olive Garden at exit 19, on our way to Lake George, but if you guys are getting in at a reasonable time (for my stomach to not growl) we'll wait.

If you have an entertainment book/card, bring it. I have two (and I'll bring the extra) and the cards are usually able to be used no matter where you bought them. This is one of the (well two of them) coupons I have. Want to eat there?

Come on, who else..you aren't going to let the 6 of us hog all the fun, are you?

Hay--are you guys planning a party without me? I "almost" wish I was going. Guess I'll just sit here in the sun and listen to the fun. Vet Man
