Just thought I would pass along a little info. Nancy and I took a ride today to check it out. We had to walk in so we did not see all the park. What we saw was quite pleasent, nice grass and gravel flat sites. Nice childers play area, with slides etc and basketball court. A bike would be real nice because the roads are many and are paved. The 2 groups are a good distance away from each other. Block Island ferry and the shore with many resturants and charter fishing and probaly even fishing off a dock. I also saw people claming, are a mile or so away. You will pass a good size shopping area with Stop and Shop and drug store a mile before the park. Also several gas stops,Dunkin Donuts, some may have had diesel but not sure. The road in there is in good condition, but lots of turns. None looked like a problem with any tow. Any questions post them here and I will try to answer them, will probably take another trip in the spring. OH, cell phone service was good, full signal. I took some pictures, maybe I can get Tom to post them.

Bill... If you make another trip over, let me know and I'll meet you there.
George... That is the park we are talking about.
In addition to the restaurants, fishing, and ferry, there are some beaches nearby although it's a little past beach weather by Columbus Day.

I dought if I will be going back before spring. We are getting ready for 3 months in Fla. I forgot to mention there is a nude beach right near-by, anyone interested in taking a look around? Its called Moonstone Beach. Do not know if they allow visitors.

Great information Bill, particularly the "Nancy and I took a ride" and "We are getting ready for 3 months in Fla" Sounds like that lady is doing well. Thanks goodness.
Al, if you do chaps in the Spring maybe the spurs will get you on the beach in the Fall.
