I thought I would start a new thread about our Fla. trip. We our now sitting in River's End RV Resort on Tybee Island, Ga. this place reminds me of Key West. We expect to be here a couple of days, then head further South. Let's see we have been on the road 7 days and haven't arrived in Fla., my sweetie likes this pace and so do I. We have reservations in Cl over Leaf, Brooksville for a couple of weeks. so we are sure to make the Winter Noreaster "Rally". Today we tour the island and spend some money on the local economy....

Hey Bud & Ruth,
Sounds like you are having a nice trip south, you lucky dogs. George took me to Tybee Island for my 50th. It's a great place. Make sure to check out Savannah, it's lovely.

We toured Tybee island and we discovered a quaint fishing dock and I bought a dozen blue crabs and local shrimp. Ruth cooked the crabs up with garlic and we pigged out, it doesn't get much better, now according to my watch it is time for my visit to the wine cellar and rotate my bottles to make sure the aging process is correct...in other words sip the grape...

Bud,
How did you get the ressies at Clover Leaf?
We called a few weeks ago and were told that
there was nothing available for anything over 26 feet until April 1st.

ColleenP, I got Bud the site. I did not know you were looking for one here. The people across the street from me canceled and no one had taken it for the time Bud wanted. Are you still looking for a site, if so I will go to the office if I knew when you wanted. They are very packed, except small site for a truck camper etc. But may be able to find something. Vet Man

We are laying over for 2 days at the KOA in Starke Fla. this CG is owned by the Seffern family, years ago Matt Seffern was a very active member of IRV2 and contributed the CG owner side to topics. Matt moved back up North. Tomorrow we head down to Brooksville for 16 days. I cant wait to visit my favorite Flea market on Highway 19.

Hey Capt Bud. Good to hear you're on the move. The FL Boomers are heading to Rivers End at Tybee Island in March for the St. Patricks Day festivities in Savannah.

If you like flea markets (I'm assuming you're talking about Howards on US19), be sure to check out the Webster Flea Market in Webster on Mondays.

Mike you are so right. Knowing Driver is in the area is good reason to lock the doors!!!
