This is the week that I pull the MH out of it's parking spot next to the house and begin my trip prep. What I do is check Tire pressures, clean the exterior and interior, start up the fridge, walk around with a bunch of different lubricants and lube anything that moves.
I continue to load clothing, foodstuffs and other necessary items, Ruth stands by in the house with a list so we don't forget anything.
I also prep the toad in and out.
The defining moment is when I tell Ruth that the bus is ready and she comes out and does her INSPECTION, I feel like a recruit in boot camp awaiting her approval...LOL

Yo Bill, Tommy knows what I am saying. You get the vessel ready for sea in all respects. The Air Force just sweeps down the bus and puts on the box lunches and takes off. Listen to what Tom tells you about the NAVY.... LOL

We have the normal prep stuff plus a bunch of repairs following our 2 week vacation.
Vacation was great - Myrtle Beach, 1st week, Gettysburg the 2nd week. It was the last day of the trip home that got us.
Somehow the exhaust pipe separated at the Pac-Brake. Not sure when the separation happened, but there was no indication it had occurred. It must have been disconnected for a while, as the extreme heat in the engine compartment appears to have caused a few more problems. Two hydraulic lines melted together and are leaking, and there's a problem with the rear/basement AC unit, I suspect a short someplace in the wiring. Not sure if there are any more issues.
I ordered several parts, I'll pick them up at Freightliner Wednesday.
