We departed at 0930 from Jersey and arrived at Lake George at about 1430. I am at a lakeside site with W/S/E/WIFI/Cable. The hospitality exhibited by Retired Enforcer is fantastic. Tonite we go out to eat and enjoy ourselves. The only problem we have is somebody keeps running his lawn mower back and forth.. LOL and then I had to assist in draining the hot tub....to be continued...

Wish I had known he was up at camp..we were right up the road at Schroon River for the worlds largest garage sale and just got home today. We would have stopped in Sunday night. I'm sure you have a better view and nicer amenitites than we did at our paying site LOL!

We got into Scenic View CG at about 1400 hours, the place is rustic and is very quiet. I had some trees in the.. way of my slides and the owner came down and immediately trimmed them. The run from Lake George over is a very spectacular ride, it is like one of those RVing commercials. We have W/S/E/Cable and the side is good.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your ride to Scenic View. I haven't traveled those roads in a couple of years, but know it's a good area to drive through with several spectacular views.

See you Thursday, we should get there before 6pm.

Directions were good, thanks for the help. There was some road construction on thw way over, but not too bad, a beautiful ride though! I recommend everyone coming to the rally to try and get here before dark. It is out in the country and their sign is not lighted! Looking forward to seeing everyone, weather report looks good!

Hello All;
Where was the road construction? Was it on 149? If so we can go around it. Many thanks;

Hi Everyone

We arrived at Scenic Campgrounds today. Saw Capt Bud and Ruth, Retired Enforcer and Joan.

We went out to Plain Janes Diner with Ajbjrvers and Barbra, and 007 and Clair and Gertrude for dinner.

Some info on the area, there is a Market about 1 1/2 miles from the CG and they have everything. Super Walmart about 17 mi. If you have an EZ canopy please bring it, C'mon up....
