Well we Convoyed over from N.H., Bob and I, we traveled 361 miles, a zillion gallons of fuel and a zillion dollars in tolls and we are here in beautiful Turning Stone, Gil and Doris were here to greet us and we are lined up in three sites. When we arrived the heavons opened up and I hooked up in the rain. Doris, Gil, Bob, Joan and my Ruthie went over to the Casino to try and get the Injuns to pay for the trip. HAH. We will keep you all updated on our Odyssey.

We all went over to the Casino last night and ate and I am getting the Indians to pay for my trip. It is raining cats and dogs right now, and will continue through tomorrow. We may have to stay an extra day and go home Saturday, I guess we'll have to suffer another day on the road stuck in Turning Stone.....

We returned home at 3:00 PM Saturday after a beautiful trip down route 17 thru the Catskills. The return trip was 340 miles for a total round trip distance of 1100 + miles. We averaged 8.6 MPG. The Injuns paid for a lot of this excursion which was another plus. Now it is time to start gearing up for our Southern trip during the winter months...
