Just want to share some great news!! Debbie, our daughter, gave birth to twin boys yesterday, July 9th.

Jakob Matthew Gage arrived at 1:21pm, weighing 5 lb. 14 oz, 18 1/2 inches long

followed by:

Tyler Joseph Gage, arriving at 1:22pm, weighing 5 lb. 10 oz., and also 18 1/2 inches long.

The babies were having some breathing problems so they were sent to CHAD - Childrens Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, NH. This morning, she was told that they are much better now and that they will be sent back to Concord hospital, NH to be with her tomorrow morning. The babies were born by C-Section and Debbie is doing okay. They will probably be in the hospital for another 1-2 weeks since they were born 5 weeks early.

We're taking our motorhome to Twin Tamarack CG, where it will be for the next 30 days. This gets us closer to our new grandchildren.

Congratulations! How wonderful, twin boys. You must be some proud grandparents. That is so exciting. Just to let you know, our oldest daughter was born 5 weeks early weighing in at 3 lbs. 4 oz. She is now married and one year away from her Ph.D.
You must be thrilled!

Twin's Update..

Jakob and Tyler are doing well, we're still not sure when they'll be released from the hospital.

I've uploaded a picture, Tyler on the left, blue hat, Jakob on the right, green hat.

Their hats were made by volunteers.

Thanks for your replies...

What a great picture. My oldest was also born premature, and you would never know it today. These guys look so cute. Be sure to take pictures with objects in with them, so when they grow, you can show them just how tiny they were.
