If you happen to be in N/E Ct. on Labor day weekend be sure to attend the annual Woodstock Fair in Woodstock Ct. It's a great bigtime country fair with anything and everything you would want. Plenty of parking outside and reasonable entry prices. There are always good big time entertainers there all 4 days. Presented by the Woodstock Agricultural Society.

Weekend after the july 4th weekend there is a real large fireworks show in the Thames River can be seen by boat or the New London shore or Groton shore.. Lots of vendors and things to do. Near-by the Casino's. When you narrow the dates we can help more, and were in the NE

If you want to venture to NJ, the NJ Festival of Ballooning is July 29-31.
