Ruth and I are getting ready to head for the upper peninsula of Michigan, it's a place we've heard about but never visited. Our first destination is Fremont Mi, to vist some friends that we made on one of our Florida trips. The MH is fueled and LP filled. The next two days will be filled with loading supplies and clothes. and we hope to be underway at 0900 on Thursday. We plan on taking I80 across. Coach-Net sent me a great trip plan. I hope I don't hit the hot weather that Driver experienced. however if we do I will hunker down in a nice camp ground untill it passes. We have no idea how long this trip will be or where we will wind up...

Captain Bud:

Have a wonderful and safe trip. Can't wait until we can just take off with no concern about when we come back.

Be sure to post any interesting places you visit that we should check out.

Blessings,

All right Captain
The DW and I made the U.P. a stop on our way to South Dakota last June. I recommend the KOA right there on Route 2 in St. Ignace. WE liked Macinack Island (worth the time). Try the Soo Locks in Sault Ste Marie, and also the shipwreck museum at Whitefish Point. Some day WE are going back to one of the most beautiful areas we've been to.

Ruth & Bud, safe and happy travels. It's a lovely part of the country and it hopefully is cooler. We'll be thinking of you and wishing we were there!

And Tom, what is that avatar that you have there? It looks dangerous.

Looks like our schedule is changing, It's too darn hot to load up the MH, and tomorrow looks like the same, that means I will have to load Thursday and get underway Friday which means everyone is heading for the CGs. So, we will delay until Sunday and travel up into PA. and have lots of Campsites available until we get to Michigan. It seems that we have the greatest ease of traveling by leaving in down times rather than going with the weekenders. I guess we're fortunate in having a flexible schedule to be able to go with the flow...

Hey Capt

Have the best of trips. Hope you both are feeling well. You will love the area. June and I did made the same trip a few years ago in the pop-up. Same time of year and the weather coudn't have been better.

Have a very safe journey and we will see you in October
