Guess Mother Nature wasn’t expecting any Treats this Halloween because she dumped a nasty Trick on us here in New Hampshire with a real live nor’easter! It started snowing Saturday at 3:30pm, we lost power at midnight (Hooked ourselves up to the generator on the RV! Should be all set for a few days.) and when it finally stopped snowing, we had a total of 24 inches! Fortunately for us here it’s the light fluffy stuff not the heavy wet stuff other areas got. There’s over 4 feet of snow piled up at the end of the driveways from the plow going by. We’ll be busy clearing much of the day. Hope all the rest of the Nor’easters are doing well, and for those of you already in the South, “Lucky you!”

Jim, we didn't get as much as you, but had a golf event scheduled for today which up to Saturday afternoon we thought we would still be able to play. The predicted 1" to 3" turned into better than 8". They also had predicted warmer temps for today with sunshine.
Got everything I needed to winterize Friday at Wally World and didn't get the chance to do it. Going out today to do it and hope nothing froze over night. Good luck digging out.

We visited Rindge and Winchendon (MA) this summer. At the time of our visit temps were in the high 90s and low 100s. And people say Florida has weather extremes.
Good luck with digging out. Hopefully, this early in the season, this snowfall should disappear soon.

Had a ton of "Trick or Treaters" as the weather was absolutely perfect in Silicon Valley which is the only reason to continue living in California..I am not sure that I know what a "Snow Shovel" is.

Here in Nashua we got about 1' of wet snow and lost power for 4 days, just got it back last night. Tree branches all over, some big maples pulled up by the roots.

You can take the boy out of Jersey, but you can't take warped Jersey humor out of the boy.

I feel for you guys. I was working for Delta Air Lines in 1972 when we merged with Northeast Air Lines. Hundreds of mechanics were transferred to Atlanta, Ga from Boston, Mass. They all said they had put in transfer request to return to Boston. After the first winter They all tore up their transfer request forms. Now their mothers and fathers and other family members are living in Atlanta. All of them said the same thing. They never realized how many problems they had to deal with because of the weather.

I am sorry for you guys up north. Way to early to start with the white stuff. I am glad we made the decision to come south for the winters last year. I will be heading to the the pool in awhile to do aqua aerobics... what can I say?

We got something between 12" to 15" of heavy wet snow in our corner of Nashua, NH. Lost power about 7pm Saturday and finally got it back yesterday evening. The generator in my coach ran 96 hours non-stop supplying power to the coach and the fridge, freezer, and a couple of lights in the house. Sure handy to have it parked right beside the house...
