I had an EZPass in my pickup and since have bought a Ford Edge and Jayco 31SS Class C... I went online to add the RV and toad but ran into a brick wall... I called EZPass and one guy told me I needed a commercial account... not too happy about that I called back and talked to a young lady who said not so... she took all my info and is sending me a new "tag" for the RV that mounts on the license plate and a removeable one for the toad to use when driving and remove when it is a toad... however when I went online and checked my account they show the RV as a 7000lb trailer....

anyone out there have a class C and toad EZPass? how is it coded on your account? I am at my wits end with these people...

Joe

Hi jerzeyjoe

I have a commercial account. I first got my E-Z pass when I owned my BTCruiser. They sent me a page with a bunch of pictures and asked me to pick out the one that looks like my rig. When I did they listed me as a bus. When I go thru the tolls they only charge me the regular .35cents rate. When I got the Brave I never botherd to tell them as I have the same license plate.

I had the same type of issue with my class C and toad. I told them how could it be a comercial vehicle because it has camper plates. After taking to a supervisor they agreed with me. I take the transmitter and move it from RV to several different vehicles, with no problem.

I finally talked to an agent who gave me a license plate tag for the RV and a white stick on for the toad...she said to put the toad tag in the plastic bag when towing.... will get my tow bars next month and check it out...
