Maybe I should keep my mouth shut but I find that if you plan on somthing you don't realley have as good a time as if you just look at your best friend(wife for me) and said hey lets just get in the RV and go. She says go where and I say anywhere lets just go. when we do this we have the time of our lifes my job is a major pain in the rear as it gives me no time off as I am a Police Officer and I am always jumping so when I can take off I try to make the best of it. My Wife will be workamping at one of New Englands greats camp grounds this summer and even though I'll be back here at home with my job its one hour away so when I can I'll make the trip and the best of it am just glad that she will be doing something that she wanted to do this summer with the RV.

Doris you know the Campground am talking about wish that this group could meet there over the summer what a fun time it would be.

Well thats just my 2 cents and even though I live in Mass I have yet to attend a get together so thats why I say that its the spore of the moment ones that make it fun.

Mark

You make a good point, and we do that often too..however, if we want to fit in 25 RV's on a holiday weekend (or just a regular weekend) and get a pavilion, we do have to plan it a long time in advance. Wish we didn't have to, but with only a few months camping in the Northeast, it's just what we live with. Trust me though..we always have a wonderful time, no matter how long we planned a rally. Sometimes people don't know until the last minute if they can join us, and that's understandable..but it's much easier to slip in two or three last minute campers at a crowded campground, than 25 rigs. I think any of us who have wagon mastered, feel the pain of one of ours either not being able to join us because it was too last minute, or having to be camping at the other end of the campground.
I love these guys..they are our extended family, and however it works out to get together..we'll take it!

Oh no, I remember those songs! Yikes I'm old! I didn't remember the name of the group but I remember the songs. Well it sounds like Doris is having fun down in mouse land. Me, I'm just waiting for that other rally coming up. I have cleaned the camper but George has to do some dewinterizing this weekend.

Here is a site that honors the Vietnam vets with music from the 60's and 70's. Sure brings back memories.

Hey, there are lots of people out there (I'm not naming names LOL) older than me. Seriously, getting old is good.

I am anxiously awaiting Paul Revere and the Raiders on Friday. I'm pretty sure most of you heard of them.
