Northeast FMCA rally in Essex Jct, VT

Is anyone going?? New to irv2 - just joined today. We're in central NH and are going to the FMCA rally this coming weekend in Essex Junction, VT. Anyone else going? Attended past rallies there? What's the parking like?

Welcome Mary -NH to irv2 and Nor'easter forum.
Have never been to a rally there but tried to crash a Newmar rally but didn't get in.
They hold quit a few rally there and most people are happy with arrangements and venues.
You'll have to join one of the Nor'easter rallies some of us are going to the irv2 10th anniversary rally in MB, SC. this fall.

Yes, Purplefans, the rally is this weekend - July 2 through the 6th. I think FMCA wanted to take advantage of the July 1 Canadian holiday and the 4th of July for the rest of us. Not sure how attendance will be - this is our first one at Essex Jct.

007, we're just in General parking for this weekend's rally. Didn't look to see if the Newmar Kountry Klub is going but we're not members anyways. Thanks for the invite to the 10th celebration in MB. That's a long trek for us, but we'll consider it. Didn't check the dates yet. Love the link to the Newmar Mod's ~ lots of ideas there.

Been there several times. Parking is great. Entire venue is great. FMCA workers have alway one a great job.

Don't pay any attention to the bird alarm that goes off every 10 minutes or so all night. It is used to keep the birds (dropping) off the grandstands.

Check your incoming power frequently to ensure ample power.. There may have been issues in the past. I would recommend a good EM system.

Be sure to hit the chocolate factory!

Bird alarm sounds every 10 minutes, huh? Hmm, could be interesting trying to sleep with the windows open.

Thanks for the tip on the electric - we had a Progressive EMS installed at the FMCA International rally in March. Guess it was money well spent.
