Some of you know that 3 years ago, I found out I had prostate cancer and was treated for it.

Last year, at the spring rally, I had some symptoms show up and found out last fall that I need additional treatment.

Last week, a tumor was found in my neck. I will soon find out whether it is cancerous or not.

I do NOT want sympathy. In fact, I do NOT want to talk about it at all. I just want to get it out... off my chest, so to speak.

My wife is denial. She doesn't want to hear about it. My friends think if we have another beer, it will go away - not really but, they don't know what to say or do so they say 'how about another beer!'

It may be only a tumor and not more cancer but, I won't know for a while.

Again, I don't want sympathy or to talk about it. I just want to get it OUT! There is no need to say anything!

Thanks for understanding!!!!

title should be 'off my chest...'

Thank you everyone for your kindness and understanding.
I won't leave you hangin'. When I know more, I'll let you know. I still may not want to talk about it but, I promise I will pass on the facts.

Thanks again!

Things are looking up! My PSA is close to 0 now, although I still need some surgery to correct an 'issue' I'm having. I feel much better about it.

The tumor in my neck seems to have vanished, or at least they can no longer find it. I have to take some pill for it 1 week for 8 weeks and then they'll re-check for it.

The tumor in my knee is more like a bone spur and they are just going to watch it. I'll get a baseline MRI done in the next week or two and then again whenever there is a flare up to see if it's worse.

21 days until the Spring Rally!

Great idea! We'll bring some wine and probably some beer too for those who are interested in how the barley crop is this year!!!
