Hope this is appropriate to post here?
(Did a search but didn't see anything on the subject)
I was just wondering how most of the N.E.'s keep their RV's running? Dealer, Repair Shop, Camping World, Do the work themselves??
Myself, I like to do most things myself (Love MOD projects! See link in my sig). I just completed the plug & oil changes on my F53. But I'm far from a mechanic, so for the tough stuff I need to go to someone who knows what they're doing.
I thought I'd pass on a couple places I've had excellent luck with recently: Mobile RV Repair Brad's was great! Came right to my house. I'd highly recommend him for anyone in the S.E.Ma. area.
Ford Truck Service I used these guys to get my new rig up to snuff (New belts, hoses, tranny service etc). Even though they;re more of a truck place, they were great to deal with.

I like to do it all myself. Oil & filter changes, lube jobs, trans. filters, winterizing, small repairs, etc. Being a professional auto tech. helps out. Since I've worked in GM dealers for over 20 years I'm pretty familiar with the Workhorse chassis as it is mostly GM based. That's why I preferred it under my coach. I also love to tinker too. I have spent time crawling around, under, over and inside my coach looking for things that needed to be corrected, repaired or improved. It's a lot of fun for me. I REALLY had fun installing the US Gear tow brake system and all the stuff from Blue Ox to tow our Vue. I was able to do it all the way I wanted and knew it was done right!

Mike Brez - Now that's tinkering!
Have you been happy with the rear-track bar (What type)? That may be one of my next projects.

Frankie - I may also get a front end alignement done for peice of mind. I've been told that it's best to lean twords a Truck "Spring" place I'm thinking of Palmer Spring in Providence or Woodwards in Brockton.

Jim - Nice area you're from! I spend some time watersking up on Danial's Lake in Weare (My cousin lives there.)

Nautique I was going to make a trac bar but just couldent seem to ever find the time so I purchased a Henderson SuperSteer track bar.I just finished installing it a few days ago.Friday were heading to the Noreaster rally so that will be my first real drive with it on.I will post back and let you know if its worth it or not.My chassis is a P30 and was never ment to be used for a moho.

You might want to take a look at http://RVServiceReviews.com. This is the only place on the internet where RV owners can document their RV service experiences. There are almost 2000 reviews available nationwide and in Canada.

I agree they are the best. Half of the LenRich team saved us this past weekend at our rally when our fridge died. Lenny came over and found the mistake that the dealer had made and had our fridge running in no time. Thanks Lenny, you are great!

So far this is the best it ever drove.I still got a little of the suck in and blow out when a 18 wheeler goes by and a little wander here and there.Im thinking of installing a set of super steer coil springs and getting rid of the front air bags even though they do not leak at all.Maybe I should just buy the Country Coach Magna I have my eye on at ebay.

I just put a supersteer rear track bar on and it does make a noticeable differance.I still feel the trucks blowing by but its a differant feeling now,its easy to handle it.I also have a safety plus up front. If I had to do it all over, tracbar would be first. PM for more info on these rear trac bars.
