After 7 days at LG, Ruth and I went over to Turning Stone and spent 3 more days relaxing. The best news of all was that the Indians paid for the whole trip. Got home at 2:45 PM after a 300 mile run.....

Glad to hear of your safe arrival and good fortune.

Did Jim and Nancy leave the Stone at the same time?

A major lake effect storm off Lake Erie got started yesterday afternoon and continues today, 14+ inches of snow, Rt. 90 closed in the Buffalo area. I believe that is often their route home.

Hopefully we will hear from them shortly, if they went that way.

We heard from Nancy and Jim that they were laying over somewhere near the PA. line. They did get hit with some bad weather. We went the opposite way on 90 and raced the front. We traveled 780 miles round trip and averaged 8.5 MPG which ain't bad..we got the Indians to pay for the WHOLE trip including fuel and we bought our winter wardrobes with the bonus Karats...

Glad you made it home safely and avoided the bad weather. So in your lifetime, are you ahead with the Indians or behind? I guess if I were to gamble, I would go with you guys since you seem to win more than Frankie. I hope Jim and Nancy find some good weather so that they can get home. What a storm in Buffalo!
