Leaving from Fla. and heading up to Maine. Went to my trip planners and they routed me via NJ Turnpike, Geo. Wash. Bridge, Bronx Exp,Mas. Turnpike...etc.
Boy ...I'd like to stay out of all that if I can.
Any easier routing...ex....NE extension of Pa turnpike?
Thanks
Bob

Bob,

I normally take I 95 North to South Carolina, where I pick ip I26 west to I77 North, than I81 to PA where I pick up I84 east. This way I avoid serveral cities.. I81 does have a bit of truck traffic.

This route will add about 75 miles miles on to your trip, but there's less overall traffic.

Hey Bob,

I agree 100000000000% with George I like I-81 to I-84 over I-95 any day or time !! Good luck with what ever route you take, and have a nice trip
