To all Noreaster's, first of all, I want to aplogize for the discussion that was held at the last Rally, and accept total responsibilty for what went on, I should have stoppped, but did not.
I have been asked on numerous occasions at different rallies to make various announcements, resolve problems and handle other situations. I will not discuss any of these occurences on this site or post, you that have asked me to take the leadership role know who you are and what you asked of me.
I have ALWAYS done what I thought was best for the group and tried to adhere to the principals of what the RV family should be like. However recently when anything was brought up, it has turned into a debacle.
I happen to be one of those individuals who wears his heart on his sleeve and is always open and above board without any excuses for my actions.
If I am asked my opinion I will tell you, whether or not that is what you wanted to hear.
With the aforementioned in mind, I have resigned as moderator.

Bud

You can't take all the credit for what happened at the rally. Let's put it behind us and move on as a group. I'm posting what I sent you to the group only because you are not in way responisibile for my actions. I too am sorry to the group for any hard feelings and hope for us to move on together.

Capt.

I just want to tell you I'm sorry for what happened in NY, the last thing I wanted to do was upset you or do anything to hurt the group. I knew there was a bunch of us that couldn't go to walkins glen for a weekend and by no means was it my intention to split the group by having a second rally. You are a very important part of this group and I hope we can unite in the spring. United we Stand Diveded we Fall. Please accecpt my apoligy.
Trully,
Al Morancy

Bud, we both appreciate and thank you for your efforts in behalf of IRV2 in general and the NorEasters in particular during the seven or so years we have been involved.

Thanks,

I think you have just described most of us. Most of us have opinions, and share them. I guess we'll have to learn to step away, if we don't like each other's opinions. I think a lot of feelings were hurt, and now it's time to heal.

Thank you for your note, and I hope we can just go on with what we all enjoy...camping together. We've all been together for too long, been more than camping friends, but have been family, to not just put this behind us.

Doris

Bud, Nancy and I want to thank you for your past time as moderator and member of NorEasters. Many times you do not get the credit for your hard work, and time spent. I wish you and Ruthie the best in what ever decision you make. I look foward to camping with you in the future.

Bud... One of the things I like best about the NorEasters is how different we all are and how we all to come together when it comes to camping. It is natural with a group as diverse as ours to have disagreements that are due to our different points of view. We have retired folks, younger working folks, white collar, and blue collar people. There's no way to ever get a 100% consensus out of a group like that. That's why we have conversations...to find out what the impact of a certain decision will be. The important thing is that once we come to decision or compromise, we move on as one and support the group as best we can.
You voiced your opinion. Thanks to you and many more like you, we all have the right to voice our opinions.
If there needs to be a change, I think it should be that there is more discussion, either at the rally or online, before decisions are made. I don't know that you need to step down as moderator.

Bud thanks for all the hard work you have put into the Nor'Easters and irv2. I want you to know that we appreciate what you have done.
I know that I can be a PITA and I also apologize if I added to the upset. I will keep myself in check in the future.
One thing I want to say is Bud, we love you and hope we can remain friends and camp together long into the future.
Many of the people in the group have been together for a long time. Any group such as this will evolve and ocassionally have problems. But hopefully we can get beyond those and have lots of fun camping together.

Hi All,

I am not going to beat a dead horse, and repete all the good points that others have said! However to Capt. Bud, I want to say thanks for what you have done for the site, and the group! I also think that you should not resigne as Moderator, but if you do I respect and support your decision and will say no more on that point! Now let us all get a big group hug, and get on with the camping seasone! One for all and and all for one!!! Life is to short to not enjoy it!!!!!!!!!

Well I really have no business sticking my nose in here since I have only camped with the group once at Ross Hill a few years ago and arrived very late the first night due to a break down. I really only met a few people but everyone seemed to be like a large close family. Hanging out at Vet Mans place having deer meat stew some crazy guys wearing dresses to the Mothers Day breakfast ROTFLMAO.You most likely don't remember me but we talked for awhile right before we were all leaving and I can tell you are a real nice guy and I am sure whatever happened at the last rally is water under the bridge.
