Seeing no other comments regarding the 2K10 spring rally I will take it as a go. There will be a couple of short polls for input on the date and location. As said before it will be when the snowbirds get home and in a netural location for most.
Updates to follow and thanks to those that gave input.
Al

I am also voting for Al!!! I will also be the first to say I more than likely won't be able to make it to the rally - but I promise you to search out the Nor'easters group whenever I do make it to your region!
PS-I also expect to see info on your blog. ... Hey what's the chance of a few of you making it to the Grand Canyon next year for the National Rally? I think they are looking at it to be a bit later in summer...

Al,
GET ER DONE!!!!!!
Where is everyone? Camping I hope? Let's look foward and get to camping!
Boog,
Unfortunatley things did not work out for you the fall rally, but mabye you could do something next summer like George is doing in NH. I would love to come up to that area, in fact was looking into the KOA over there that looked real nice after some renovations.
Let me know if you decide to do that, but I am planning on coming up next year to that area, but it would be in the summer, when I could spend more time in that area.

May 21,22,23, this is the week before Memorial Day this year. So its the 4th weekend in May 2010, it has 5 weekends in 2010.
This should cover the snow birds, if some of the people coming home from the south could weigh in on this date that would be great.
It's as late as it can get without running into Memorial day. I think it's going to be what it is.

I'm all for a rally, anywhere, anytime if my schedule permits me to attend. I agree the rally master, wagon master, what ever the title, should make the decision, those that can will go, those that can't won't. We cannot please everyone all the time, make the best of it, enjoy the rally.

The KOA in Brattleboro VT. is on the list. The place is wide open right now for the weekend before Memorial Day. Here is the link to the site.
Brattleboro North, Vermont Camping Vacation, Brattleboro North Campground in Vermont - KOA in Brattleboro North
My first spot was Loan Oak in Conn. but he only had 7 spots left for that weekend.
The lady was real nice and quoted me full hooksups at 30 a night and 28 with out sewer. They only have 12 full hookups. When you see the site map you'll see how we could have the whole place and all be together.
They have a huge area for gatherings, fires whatever. She also has an inflateable huge screen and a projector that can be hooked up to a computer for outdoor movies or slide shows. With the amount of pictures we have that could be good for some laughs and that is no cost.
More options to follow but this one is high on the list.

Al, Those dates work and that is a workable distance for us.

We've stayed at that KOA twice. It's clean, nice and the staff is very friendly. We are staying there one night this August on our way North and will post an update then.

I will be there the weekend before our NH July trip...so I will have one up on you . Looks like a nice place, going with some friends, possibly hitting MT Bromley summer fun....that is if it ever stops raining...might get rid of the MH for a boat at this point . Talking about depressing!

It's a good weekend for us, and it might be warm enough for the kids to swim at that time of year. Place is just 2 1/2 hours so that is good too. Hey, with the movie screen, we can bring all our travel videos..you guys wouldn't mind sitting through them, would you
Price is good as well!

Good Feedback,
I'm not going to beat this one to death. That is going to be the spot. With it being wide open right now I see no reason to mess around.
I'm going to put up a new post with the formal details and get the list going. All the owner needed was one nights deposit to hold the spots.
I'm calling her now to get it started.
Lets put the past behind us and let bygones be bygones. We are a great group of people and I'm trully sorry for getting anyone upset at Herkermir. So lets pack this place and make the owner have to put out the closed sign because the Noreaster's are in the House!!!
