The spring rally talk started tonight. The date talked about was the weekend of May 16th and 17th. I just got off the phone with Tom Bailey, the owner of Bailey's in Scarbough Maine. The rates for the 2009 season are not set yet but he quoted me between 30 and 40 bucks a night. He could cater two breakfasts for us and a main meal but for a hard price for that we would need to have a better idea of how many people we are talking about. I know this is a hike for a lot of members of the group so I'm going to put up a poll with the other spots that have already been talked about here. Aime has offered to co host with me if we go to Maine. I'm going to fish through the post that already started for the poll and we can add anything else that comes up.

Thanks for keeping those of us not at the rally up to date. As you know, you can't please everyone with whereever the selection ends up being, as we are all over the Northeast, but a poll is a fair way to do it. I'm happy with the tentative date, since it's not Mother's Day

Have a great time at the rest of the rally.

Al,

As luck would have it, I finally got the coach fixed to the point where it was drivable Thursday night. But I'd already given up my reservation and despite numerous attempts and calls, couldn't get another.

Of course we're disappointed, but hoping everyone is having a great time. Hope to catch ya at the next rally

I'm not volunteering to be wagonmaster but, may I suggest that we select a Fall 2009 rally site now before all the campgrounds close? I'd like to nominate Bailey's for the Fall Rally.

Tim,

Worry not, we'll have mini rally at Baileys this coming summer, we're already working on it. We'll pick a long weekend and Lenny's going to make the trip. You and Cris and who ever doesn't mind the ride. Frankie's got the trailer, bikes are not allowed there. We'll have a blast. Get your spot booked for the Spring.

Rest up and take care of yourself.

You guys did a great job.

Al
