There seems to be interest in a childerns fishing contest for Sat morning. If you are interested in entering your childern make a post here. I do not need to know exactly how many, just an idea so worms can be bought. Bring any fishing gear you have, I have a few extra poles. If everyone is ok with it there will be a $2 charge for each child. While they are fishing, I will go to campground store and get them each a $2 coupon so they all will be winners. The coupon can be used in the rec hall, to play games. Meet at my site at 10:30 Sat morning site #18. Any adult help to keep them dry will be accepted. They will fish for 1 hr. jetsme13, has made a nice offer he will put in an extra $2 for each child if I understand him correctly, for a total of $4 each. Bill

Just saw this post myself and wanted to add that if there's a need for additional fishing gear to outfit these children, I will contribute up to $100 on behalf of iRV2 towards the purchase of this equipment or supplies.

Let me know if there's a need for this and I'll make arrangements to send the funds.

Off topic a bit,but I wanted to also mention that for those with children attending the iRV2 National,we are making arrangements with the campground to have activities for the kids as well....They're a big part of our iRV2 family and they should have fun too!!

rebelsbeach, you are very generous. I believe we have enough fishing equipment for all childern. I have a half dozen poles myself. I agree camping is a great experience for childern, as well as fishing. I have taught my 3&5 year old grand childern we always release our fish to swim another day, and to respect nature. Vet Man

RebelsBeach, What a generous offer. Between Bill (VetMan) and I, we have lots of fishing gear and two boats at the campground. We'll make sure everyone has equipment and a good time.
