I was thinking (always dangerous) that since we have so many new people maybe it would be a good idea if some "seasoned" Nor'Easter be assigned to a new rallier as a mentor, guide, friend, etc. That person (couple) would make sure the new people knew where the campfire was and that they were invited, when and where the fishing derby was etc. I know it happens informally but I think in our informal way sometimes people get forgotten. Or we assume they know they are invited to the nightly campfire but they don't or they feel a bit shy about coming. What do you think?

I think it's a good idea. And to help out, Bill and I have made a handout that everyone is going to get upon arrival. It tells when and where everything is happening and let's them know that everyone is welcome at every event.

I think that is a great idea Lynn, and Tom's handout is very helpful. This rally is really turning out to be one of our biggest, keep up the good work Bill and Tom...

Would you like to go through and make the arrangments to see who of the seasoned irv2 people wouild like to do it and hook them up with a new person? Maybe could PM the new people after the people volenteer, and tell them who there "Buddy" would be for there stay. Also inclosed in the info letter, wil be directions to various site seeing places and to the Casinos. Vet Man

As part of the hand out we're also going to have a list with who's on what site and as many names as I can assemble.
Along that line I need names from the following people
tps0424
tjbrez
MikeBrez
Solebury Tom
If you want me to include the names of children please include them also. You can post them here or e-mail them to me at ttt1953@gmail.com

That's what I thought Al, that you would be introducing your friends around. I in no way meant by this message that you would spend the entire weekend with the people. Just introduce them to others at meals, make sure they know they are invited to the campfire, that sort of thing.

Lynn, how is this working out? When you have it together please post who the Buddy's are and who they are hooked up with. Will you be letting the new people know in advance who the Buddy will be? It might give them a chance to ask questions in advance. Of course if they have questions they can ask here. Bill
