We had to spend another night in Fl because of the storm at home. Just found out we may not get out tomorrow either! It's been nice to visit with Mike and Colleen and other snowbird friends..but I didn't plan on spending quite this much time here!
We really should have a rally down here some time..what fun that would be.

Doris,
Don't be in a rush, it is seldom that your area gets more than us but according to reports you did this time. Blew out driveway and deck twice yesterday and there is 6 more inches out there this morning and still coming down. As if that isn't enough the temp. is +3 now and is was down to –18 yesterday morning, took all day to get up to 0. Be safe, enjoy it as long as you can and just smile or maybe a little smirk.

Looks like the Albany airport is open again..so we'll be off to the Orlando airport to give it a try. I'm told we are coming back to a lot of snow!

Hi Nor'Easters you're really living up to the name with this storm!

Right now here in Fort Wilderness the temperature is 46 degrees and it's supposed to go down to 29 for about 3 to 4 hours before morning. There are lots of people covering plants with sheets and blankets.

The Magic Kingdom fireworks are going off right now, they do a show every night at 7:00 PM. So far so good down here. It's a bit pricey but this is a nice campground.

When we leave here we're going to Tropical Palms in downtown Kissimmee. It too is also a nice campground AND they have Wi-Fi.

I spoke to Captain Bud and he and Ruth are doing just great. He visited Pensacola and other nice campgrounds as far West as Biloxi, MS. They're up in the panhandle and he told me that he saw a lot of hurricane damage. Bud is heading down here at some point so we should see them both at some point within the next few weeks.

Here in Orlando/Kissimmee there is a lot of hurricane damage. Huge trees blown over and broken and stands of trees just all blown over in the same direction. Big signs are tore up and some of the Disney signs are damaged. The forested areas here in Ft. Wilderness also took a pounding. We frequently see homes with blue tarps on them even this late after the storms.

Talk to you guys later!
