We have, it is a real nice CG. Ask for the back section when you go, it is around a lake and is very private...

We stayed at Timberlane this past weekend because we were going to Philly on a trip to the Franklin Institute with my son's Cub Scout pack. The campground was nice enough but the sites were incredibly small. We stayed in the back section and our hook-ups were right next to our neighbor's picnic table. I would go back only if we were going in to Philly. I wouldn't go there to hang out in the campground for the weekend.

Hi Cookie Mom
Your right, a lot of the campgrounds in NJ like to rack n stackem. Land in NJ is at a premium. The Turnpike is always lookin for New Parking lots as Brett would say.Try staying in liberty park campground in Jersey City. The campground is ashphalt city and the price is high. But it is the closest campground to NYC

Funny you would mention Liberty Park. I was talking with someone at Normandy Farms that was on their way to it to spend some time in NYC. They asked if I knew anything about it. I thought it was one Al had mentioned once, and told her that I thought it didn't have much in the way of greenery. She was a really positive women..said at least she wouldn't have to worry about hitting a tree LOL!
