Hey Bud and Ruth, safe travels. We will be there on Thursday afternoon/evening too. Give me a call or email if there is anything that needs attention when you get there.

We're sitting here in Oakland, waiting for our plane back to Albany. After a spectacular trip, I'm glad I have a rally to look forward too..lessens th4 pain of coming off a two week vacation. Unfortunately,. my neck and shoulder aren't cooperating, so I hope I can squeeze in some physical therapy before I get there.

From the south, take Route 87 the Thruway North to Exit 24 (Albany)where Route 87 splits off from the Thruway & becomes Route 87 (The Northway). Take the Northway to exit 24 (about an hour & 20 minutes from Albany).
Exit 19 of the Northway is where the least expensive gas is in the area.
Everyone have a good trip & drive carefully! The weather looks good, but will be cool. I'll be arriving either Wed. night or Thurs. but will be staying at my house in Bolton Landing about 7 miles from the campground. See you all soon! Capt. Bud has my cell number in case anyone has any problems.

OK, we arrived at the CG and I am sitting on site 33. Here is the scoop on the services provided. The electrical system looks brand new, the water and sewer looks and performs fine. There is no cable and the antenna provides one channel. I'm trying to get my Dish service working?? The free WIFI is performing fine. The sites are level and clean. The people that I have met so far are super friendly, as a matter of fact, I met a retired Navy LT. (mustang)who is on staff here. Right now it is raininga little,I am now going to take S & S for a tinkle walk, and I will reconoiter the rest of the park.....BTW the cell service erizon is marginal 1 bar..... Hurry on up you guys and we'll have a ball, BTW bring some warm jackets it may get a little chilly..

Glad you made it to the campground safely and that everything looks okay. I wish I were there now. George is returning to Montreal tomorrow and back to Brandon on Thursday, hooking up the camper and then we will be off. I can't wait, I really need a little R&R and some friends to laugh with.

Hi Friends I hope to get started about 9:00 AM Thursday and that puts in the CG between 2 & 3 PM.
Sounds like the CG is everything Lynn and Bob said it was. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We have found in the past, that cellular works better than verizon u[ in that area..but once you get down in town, or even on the road into Bolton Landing, the verizon service comes back..sometimes a walk around the campground will give you a place where you can check your messages. Hopefully Bud will have that all checked out by the time we get there and can tell us where to use our phone! Glad the campground looks nice.
